Those extended 70-71 front brake cables were near impossible to find even in the '70s. Your best bet would likely be to have it custom made. Try this outfit:

motion pro is great. I put apes on my 03 Suzuki marauder, and although they didn't have any stock lengths in stock, they did the homework, and nailed a 12+ clutch cable.
Smooth action, teflon lined.
The cable has a 90* tube the cable runs thru-perfect. each end has a different barrel-perfect. And has a weird bracket holder deal that must be put on during the build-perfect.
And the price was just the same as a stock replacement from suzy. ymmv.

Ordered a cable from motorcycle superstore that's +5, and the cable I need, but don't think its gonna b long enough. If not, I'll probably get a hold of the MotionPro folks. The drums on my XS came off a 71 Suzuki Rebel so I'm tryin to match it up
