Well its 2 i guess you would say. Like a "power up" click then click back downJust when i turn the key on 1 click
I get nothing when attempting to "power up".Still interested in whether or not the starter motor spins when you just bump it?
Thanks for the infoYes, if there's any dirt or gunk in the float bowl, the choke jet is easily plugged due to it's location off to the side at the bottom. Turn the choke on and it sucks that gunk right in. If the jet is plugged, the choke won't work and the bike will be very hard to start cold .....

Here's how to check it .....

The choke jet is pressed in place so can't be removed for cleaning. You'll need to blow cleaner through it with compressed air.
I think im at the turns over stage going to get a t fitting and going to run some premium fuel. To itJust so we're all reading from the same page...
"Power up" means turn the key on.
"Turns over" means the engine spins
"Fires" means a plug ignited the fuel/air mix in the cylinder and spun the engine.
"Runs" means ... well, it runs.
That is normal on the early bikes.Clicking sound is coming from here i believe?
You're gonna hafta start giving a little more detail for us to know what's going on. What does you "think" you're at the turns over...." Think? A description of what's happening would help.No luck with that. Starter is spinning. Going to recharge the battery now.
Will try that when i get back to the house thanks for the tip i think it could potentially be the points. Im just not familiar with how they should be. But they seem like they are far too tight.Ground the spark plugs to the engine, not the frame.
