fitting adjustable fork valves?

Rate on the top out springs isn't critical. 5twins posted a suggestion on alternative springs awhile ago; send him a PM if he doesn't chime in here. But if you haven't removed the damper rods you won't be able to tell if the top out springs are present or not; they fit on the shaft of the damper rod and aren't visible until the rods are removed, so they may be there.

Thanks for the info, i have had the damper rods out and the spring is not there,trouble is where do i find some?....
