I need to replace the fork seals on my ‘76. I have a set of seals from XS650Direct but should I bite the bullet and buy OEM seals? The ones on the bike are less than 5 years old with under 2,000 miles on them. Fork tubes are damage free. Thx
The original equipment manufacturer is ARS, and they're still in business. ARS also made carb boots for Yamaha, and those are still produced and sold under the Tour Max label. The ARS logo is cast into every seal they make. If you see it on the seals from XS650Direct, you have the good stuff.
