I have a set of front brake caliper mounts ordered from MikeXS, back when they sold them many many moons ago, and they don't fit my XS650SE rotors.

Shipping and border cost prohibit my returning same. So they collect dust.

Either MikeXS made a mistake in having them made or they are actually for a slightly small front brake rotor.

Markings on inside say F514Z-L B1, this one being the left side.

Hard to judge how much smaller, just that it would not be much.

Anyone with ideas on what these might fit. Bolt placement is spot on, but rotor its the inside of the bracket before I'm able to align the top bolt.

Just being curious. Perhaps someone could use a set if I knew what they might fit.

On the European bikes they used a smaller rotor, 267 mm if I recall right.
Those may be for them. The same size as they used on the rear.
You might want to try those mounts with one of those rotors.
The XS750, XS850 and XS1100 Specials used leading axle forks. These forks used a different caliper and the 267 mm rotors.

Thank you. I placed it over my back disk for a look see and without going to a lot of work, I believe you are spot on. Hmmm... a set of small dual rotors would look nice too.

Always options.
