Mikes 08-6009 MC . I have a 72 with mechanical switch, any thoughts on using the 08-6009 MC and how to hook up a brake switch to that unit? It isn't made for a mechanical switch and the supplier in Canada says a banjo bolt switch won't work. thks jack

I think the supplier is wrong, Unless there is some bizarre thread in the master cylinder (not likely) a banjo bolt switch will work.

As gggGary says the banjo bolt switch should fit in that MC.
Just replace the banjo bolt that holds the line to the MC and wire it into the harness where the stock switch plugs in.
When I put a disc brake on the rear of my 75, that's how I set up the brake switch.
