I need a front to rear conversion kit. I`ve reached out to Omars as they still show it on their web site but no answer. Looks like their not making glass anymore but they still show the kit in stock. Someone in OK was making a conversion kit also. I don`t need the sprocket, just the adaptors, bearings, seals and spacers.

RC Racing makes front to rear wheel adapters for the XS650 mag wheels. It;s shown on their website. Type in RC Racing and it should come up. I think they are in Washington state. I got mine from JIM Henry in TX. prob.7 Yrs. ago but he got hurt and is not making them anymore.

I got Jim Henry's also...I seem to remember that he had a bad accident and wasn't making these anymore. If I can recall, they looked like they could be reproduced on this site by some of the guys with lathes. You have to buy/install bearings and the spacers were pipe. They take Yamaha sprockets.
I've got a few more pics, I think...will post in the am. No measurements though.

Dang, I'm sure glad I snagged that used Champion seat! For about 10 seconds I thought about inquiring when they offered the business up for sale. Then I realized three things, 1. I hate fiberglass 2. Most of the people who want what they're selling already have it and it would take about a zillion years to recover the investment, and 3. I hate fiberglass. Still sad though.

I typed in RC Racing but all I got was remote control cars? The guy I was thinking of advertised them on the XS650.com FB site but I can`t find it either. With Omars there was no response to email and I did not find a phone number for them but I know I`ve talked to Kevin before.

Well no luck reaching RC Racing Components. Phone does not connect to the contact number and email with no response. Heiden tuning did offer a front wheel conversion kit but it says for mag wheel as does the RC kit. Omar`s was advertised for a wire spoke or mag wheel. I don`t see what the difference could be because they both use the same bearings, center spacer, spedo adaptor and outer spacer. They both use the same axle and fit in the same fork and both have the same bolt pattern for the brake disc.:umm:

RC Racing Components did call back (forgot the 2 hr time difference) and their knock off kit is very reasonable priced with the brake disc and all but I would have to rework my monoshock swingarm for a different disc set up as it does not use the XS650 caliper and bracket. "Bummer":(.

The price was about $530 both sides complete with the brake disc carrier and disc.

So that's with knock off nuts and the sexy disc carrier and disc? not bad.
Just curious, I have an Omars set for stock wheel that I haven't used yet, still working on the hubs, cleaning them up and relacing. I can make CAD drawings of them.
I saw where Omar's was up for sale, just when I'm getting ready to do a tracker conversion of a Special. I hope some adventurous lad takes it up. If I were younger..... I did forward the info to someone who could do the glasswork

Is that by email only, or by also calling them too?
