Fuel line: Two petcocks to one

Got a new tank with one petcock, the old one had two. I'm a little confused on how to setup these fuel lines. Could I just remove the left hose, put a stopper on it and run the right one right up to the petcock?

yes, the lower thick tube between at the inlets of the carbs is a cross-over feed

Get yourself a plastic T-junction for the diameter of your fueline. The lines from the carbs jpoin one of the Ts each and the third is the inlet from the tank.

That's the way I have mine set-up. By the way, I stuck an in-line fuel filter in there, too.
