Well guys it feels like I'm getting close. This weekend spent some quality time with the xs. I have the right side brake mounted, replaced both throttle cables and the clutch cable, pulled the carbs and cleaned them(one tiny spec of fuel in each bowl). So the list of things yet to do is shrinking.

Find a brake light and mount it
Find bracket for left caliper and mount (could run the bike with right only if needed)
Clean MC, add fliud and bleed lines
Get new fuel lines w/in line filters and remount carbs
Wire new ignition
Buy and mount rear tire
Wire the new turn signals
Change the oil (it's 40 years old)
Mount tach and spedo and hook up cables
Put all the tin on
Pray the thing fires

Wish me luck.:bike:

Well haven't updated in a while. Spacer to make the new forks fit is done and on the bike. Front end feels solid and I am confident it's a good solution. Brakes are bled and seem to be working. I am picking up the rear wheel with a brand new spitfire mounted on it tonight. The tach and spedo mount is taken care of.

On Sunday the previous owner is coming by to help me tie up the loose wiring and fire the old girl up. I'm very excited.
