It's kind of "will fit", the calipers are the "same" but the bleeder and line location is slightly different. Get a LH drill and start drilling into the remains of the bleeder, it should come out and a set of LH bits is VERY useful for bolt extraction.
Sorry to hijack (not sorry), but what is the purpose of the wire manifold from the caliper to the brake line on early XS front disc brakes? Is it a design flaw?
Surely it makes more sense to just run a one piece brake line straight into the caliper using a male brake line fitting at the other end?
really not much issue to use a RH front caliper in the rear.
You can see the line going through the groove in the fender on the 73 the 76 pretty much just used the same parts even though it didn't need the steel line....
