I'm putting the engine back together and ran into some trouble with the pinion assembly. It has two gears on top of a spindle with spring and has two retainer halves with a washer on top held by a circlip located below and to the left of the crankshaft near the bottom of the engine. One of the gears has a metal ring around it with a loop on it. I forgot how it came out. I put it back together but now the crankshaft doesn't spin freely. It only turns about a quarter and stops.
