Installation of sparto style tail light options

Thinking of switching to a sparto style taillight on my 81’ how does that end up needing to be mounted? What are my best options for that and for mounting a license plate holder as well. I do not have a bobbed back fender btw. All suggestions appreciated.

Most sparto style light just mount straight to the fender with 3 screws. And most of them have a flat tab across the bottom for the license plate. The only one I've seen that doesn't have the plate tab is the Biltwell Mako light.

Any good quality ones you recommend? Preferably in flat or satin black? I see Mike’s has a few. So I just have to drill those holes in the fender I assume?

I try to avoid Mikes, but thats just my opinion.

If you really want to spend some money on one, the biltwell Mako has no flange for a plate on it
