It's getting crazy round here.
I'm an Aussie, we don't have accents, we speak properly.
Down South it's ol instead of oil, foal instead of foil. pee-cans instead of pe-cahns (pecans) and the name Bill has 2 syllables, it Be-ul.Yea..........Puel instead of pool............skuel instead of school...........
That bike - deserves a good look. First glance, it's old, but then you notice the rim discs. That unique fork arrangement looks like pure phantasy but then you start mentally drawing in the straight lines of the trail and rake run . . . so you're buying into it. That bike might be a runner not just a show bike? Not really my thing but also buying into that

That a re-purposed Honda/Kawasaki block in there?

Is Alison trading up?
Thanks for digging up that article, LP, well worth a look. Even if they start out saying it's a transverse 4-cylinder bobber - I beg your pardon? They corrected that just further on.Pretty awesome build! Motor is hacked CB550 with beamer trans...

I could be dead wrong, but I don't think we ever got the DN1 here in Canada - so I know nothing about it.
Could anyone give a brief description?
It looks kinda nice in red - but is this the bike that usually came in matt black and was sometimes referred to as The Honda Batmobile?
- engine type and displacement?
- weight?
- shaft or chain drive?
- ABS / linked brakes?
