It is at times difficult with old bikes and old owners . I have heard of sellers not selling to a person he did not likeMy parents have a few old bikes in pretty poor state that were inherited from an uncle, a 1920s leather belt drive Raleigh, Norton Jubilee and a very incomplete Navigator. I'd love to get my hands on them before they rot away but family politics and a mother who'd rather they rot than someone else have them dictates matters. I'll get some photos up sometime.
That's sad. I used to have a Notron Electra. Wasn't a bad bike.My parents have a few old bikes in pretty poor state that were inherited from an uncle, a 1920s leather belt drive Raleigh, Norton Jubilee and a very incomplete Navigator. How are all three airborne?
In the video you see a double hump in the pavement in a longish straight...How are all three airborne?
Ride on man, I dig it!I am 74 years old and still ride this. Now it is about 100 miles yearly on the high side, but I just like having it in the garage. I really don't know why other than I like the look......I know the day is coming quickly where the knees won't bend enough and the back says a complete no to the ride, then I will put it the front yard and decorate it for Christmas.......750 Honda Motor with an 836 kit, Invader Mags, Forks by Frank, and other period goodies, most impractical thing I own besides two cats, but it is a keeper.....
At 74 you certainly have time for 120-130 miles a year, don't you think? Ride, enjoy.I am 74 years old and still ride this.
