Good News/ Bad News...
Problem is my modem is older than dirt and no longer supported.
Good News is, my ISP will replace it no charge.
Bad News is, it's coming FedEx Ground, so middle of next week if I'm lucky.
I can use the mobile hotspot on my phone for short bursts, not sure what that's going to do to the bill. My daughter pays it so I don't want to abuse it.
EDIT: Daughter has unlimited data so using the hotspot is not an issue. Whew. I was NOT looking forward to essentially no internet for a week! How soon we get hooked...

Laptop at McDonald's, sausage biscuits in the AM and cheeseburgers at night. Free wifi
