Gents: I just cannot overstate how good a job Jim does on paint. It superior to any factory paint job I have ever seen on a new car or bike.

Every time I ride Betty with her snazzy new '78E dark forest jade green tins, I get looks, comments and even the occasional offer to buy her.

He!!, he even did a nice job on his thumb (but all that sanding on it must have been a tad painful)!

I concur. My pieces are still homeless, but I’ll get there.

Very nice!

Is that a stock color or is it darker??

I’ve only seen pics of that early green, never actually seen it in person.

Or those two different greens??

When you factor in the 50+ yrs of sun fade on this (OEM paint) headlight ear..... I think we got pretty damn close.

WOW - that's a eye-catcher Jim!

I must tell you that I was riding Betty ('78E with the rarely seen Forest Jade green tins) to a vintage club event yesterday and a guy who is often a bit critical of "Asian" bikes came over and quietly told me how much he admired the paint on my bike. I was stunned.

Folks: if you need an alternator rotor or anything to do with painting your tins - @Jim is definitely the man to see!
