PAMCO, PMA system help

Just as I suspected. The manufacturer got his numbers from a third party, which appear to be unknown "XS specialists". The manufacturer is now doing the right thing by removing the false numbers from his web site.

In today's world, with so much fraud, its important that there be truth in advertising.

But you called me a liar for stating my thought and experience on a great product. As I said until you check one out you really have no opinion or reason to make a statement about the actual product. I doubt you did the math also, but on line we can say anything it appears to discredit someone as you did me by calling me a liar,
And they were honest enough say they did not do the tests. So there was intentional fraud or misleading or they would not have replied to me that way.. I think you therefore owe them an apology for your statement accusing them of being dishonest.
Let me know when you want to try one out. Gary

Hi Gary,
any charging/ignition system will work so long as it's done right.
What I'm agin' is swapping out an in-place working system for a different one just to stay in the forefront of fashion.

I agree.. I ran my 75 (bought new) until I retired it in the late 80's . with the stock points system with no problem. Gary

Hi hooser,
whatcha mean, retired?
Is there an old bike's home someplace where former owners visit now and then, for a while?
Or is your '75 just gathering dust in a corner as it's carbs gum up, it's battery turns into lead sulphate and it's tires rot?

I put it in the corner and road Harleys for 20+ years, then decided to get it out and go racing. Used the motor for my 1st Shell Frame 750. Sold the roller to a kid who made a nice street tracker out of it.

Hi hooser,
that ain't retired, that's re-used or perhaps re-purposed.
The mechanical equivalent of signing your organ donor card.
