Plenty of nice roads around here just not the Ozarks caliber

I don't want to derail this thread, but I have ridden in Minnesota. Riding north of Minneapolis along the river was very enjoyable with interesting stops along the way.

I was thinking North shore drive but nobody wants to back track over the same road to get back to where they started from as in how would a person make a loop out of it

2 over to Ely is good road.
But yeah north shore close to nowhere. Heck it IS nowhere. LOL

Hillsboro to Stoddard 120 miles round trip. So yeah all day each way ;^).
There often is a Wildcat mountain rally 'bout end of Aug

120 mi round trip is an easy day for a Rally Ride. Late breakfast, early lunch, 3 o'clock beer...

I've spent a bunch of time on the north shore you just got past Duluth for things to slow down and traffic to thin out
