Decided to fabricate some footpeg brackets for my cafe racer. I wanted to reuse the existing brackets, but for some reason, both sides are a little different. I bought an additional pair and ended up using the left sides for my brackets and right sides for spare parts. I started by cutting the brackets down to size and then cutting off some mounting holes. After a little cleanup with the grinder and wire wheel, it was time for some welding. The weld cleanup smoothed out the metal so either I need to get them bead blasted or finish sanding down the rest. Let me know what you think. I was after a custom OEM look.
