i see where your coming from , a bike is worth what someone will pay for it , bikes take awhile to sell , trading is what i usually do if the trade is worth it, but there are people willing to spend the money , auctions are the best place to sell , or ebay people over seas or someone who has extra money to spend will pay the price to have a nice bike.

Would you happen to have a few pictures of some of the bikes you have built and sold on ebay. I have seen some really nice ones. The brass plating if you have paint is a no brainer. Not worth the bragging rites. On the digger style bike in your sketch it should look good when done. Do the build on site and you might not need ebay.

The number 7 turned out first class looking nice build.
Thank you !, paint would have cost for someone else around 1400 , had alot of body work done on the tank , used a chamelion flake in the paint that looks black changes colors in the sun, tan and red with bar bar bar etched in the pint like a slot machine , i worked at a casino at the time plus i like to gamble lol

I agree the ebay bike is a rat bike it is suppose to look crappy. It is over priced no doubt. Hotrod has a bike more to most peoples liking. Show quality build.

Patina looks good, but isn't worth shit. On a side note your bike, Paint looks good, but no polished parts, spokes look rusty. Nice bike, but what did you get for it? All I mean is a 5000 bike needs detailed along with attention to detail.
