Trying to do my first start up and it's a no go bike was a 79 special now it's a halfway done tracker I'm starting to think it's cam timing Is there a sure way of telling I messed it up with motor still on ? I've read many post and can't seem to tell thanks for any help [

If you don't have a clymer's, you need to get one straight away.

I did a google search for "set cam timing xs650" and got a few valid results. I restrain my smartass comments.

Thanks on both counts! Belive me not my proudest moment if I did it wrong but I guess it happens just glad I'm finding out now
