i just got motorcycleseatsdirect.com repro seat; fits, looks good, but hasn't the stainless strip around the bottom has anyone come up with a reasonable solution
Been keeping my eyes open on this as well. Mine's a bit warped. The trim piece has rolled edges that retain attachment screws, so the screws can be adjusted to match the holes in the seatpan...
Bringing this back, I've got the original stainless strip, but none of the screw trim clip things. How to make new? How to attach the trim? How to punch the holes? As a retired transmission guy, my bodywork tooling and skills are slightly limited. john
