Original designs were paint not decal, so AFAIK no.
I do know of one company that does tank decals for XS650s - Diablo Cycle in London, Ontario Canada.

I have used their decals on a 77 or two and was happy.

Yeah Factory is white then color, I've been having them done color then white. 
Guess one could, for a not exactly stock look do some fine silver metallic under translucent candy red...and have the white stripes. I found this NOS unused bike frame...same color over hard chrome metal. pops in the sunlight. That said, I see how the above tank is painted.

Done using rattle can ,the red was Citroen wicked red metallic and the white is appliance white for refrigerators etc.
I did the white first and finished with a couple of coats of clear.

I am getting ready to do my XS2 tank. I have the mask from Diablo Cycle. I am planning on painting the tank white and apply the masks and then painting the red. How soon should I pull the masks off after painting the red? Hope mine comes out as good as the above ones.
There are a lot of good videos on the subject of masking for automotive paint jobs, masking techniques, removal etc. You can learn a lot by watching the pros demonstrate.
Mask then a thin shot of clear before the color coats helps seal the edges from "bleed under"..

I’ll add - use GOOD tape. At least for your boarders and stripes
tape with a “true” edge.
