I have a Sportster rear master cylinder Im going to use on my build and I was wondering if anyone knew the banjo bolt size for it and also what size brake line fitting it takes, would it happen to match whats on an XS?

If you're in luck, yes. If not, you'll have to find stuff that does.
But what's important is that the Sportster master cylinder's piston diameter is the same as the piston in the XS650 master cylinder.
If it ain't the brake won't work the same.

Ok so its a larger piston, would that mean that it would move more fluid so brake more quickly and aggressively?

Yes, if the master cylinder is too large, then there is danger of over powering the brake and locking up the wheel.

The ratio of the master cylinder bore to the caliper bore determines how well the braking works. Read through this link from Vintagebrake.com:

When I changed my caliper on my front wheel, I found it necessary to switch from the stock 14 mm master cylinder to a 12 mm master cylinder. The stock single piston caliper needed the 14 mm M/C, but it was too strong when I changed to a more modern 4 piston caliper.
