Thought i would share some pics of a cafe im building for a customer (i think he is a member on here)
He just picked it up off craigslist,Someone had done some worked to it and it looked great but was kind of hacked up.I think this bike is going to turn out great,He isnt really sparing any expense on it.
So far the bike is pretty much broke down.Bars and headlight were mocked up,Seat is mounted with a half frenched tail light and a polished aluminum plate under the bubble that will contain all the electrics.
We sandblasted and powdercoated the wheels,The frame will be sent out for coating since it doesnt fit in my oven.
Im still off work from my shoulder surgery but can still do quit a bit around here so i think i got a lot done for the wee and a half ive had it.
Here is the bike when i received it

i like the look of cafes more than any other style(bobber chopper tracker etc) except stockers, nice bike!

Rear sets came from TcBros. There OK,quality could be better for the price but they look nice.

i wanna know how you got the aluminum covers looking that good, they look amazing.

i got 20 hours a piece on my covers and they don't look half that good.

I start with 500 grit and wet sand up to 1200, Then take it to the buffing using white compound for probably 2 hours for a side cover. Finish it up with mothers mag and aluminum polish. Thanks for the compliments.

Some updated pics. Got the tins back Friday, wow they turned out great. The owners brother did the paint for him and did a great job.

I totally dig this bike. Looks great. I really like those pipes too. I was thinking about putting those on my bike, but wasn't sure how much room there would be with the rearsets. I might have to reconsider them now!!
