Good luck buddy!
Thanks Bob.. Yes It is an option to sell parts off this thing but then ? Then I'd be the guilty one who parted out a whole bike.
As I follow your own XS threads, I search about looking for parts up here for you and there is really None !
Anyway,I hope somebody who is right finds this Turbo..

Post it on ebay, it doesn't mean you must sell it on eBay depending on your price and reserve. Do not part it out. You will sell that bike don't worry. I think you should be asking $3500 for it though. 2500 is way to low for that awesome bike.

Hello, tho I've never shipped a bike and don't want to, thought maybe somebody could advise me on how to trade this Honda Turbo off my hands ?
See there is a 79 Standard a couple hours away that's really calling me.
My XS budget needs Help ! :)
You all know I will NEVER finish this Turbo thing lol.

Guy doesn't know what he has..... That's an 80 or newer. Iggy is missing 'cause it has the TCI system...
So i called on this bike. Owner agreed to sell it for $500 as a non-runner. Told him I'd arrange a trip to pick it up within next few days. He then messaged this morning saying he spent a little time and got it up and running and the price is now $900. Go figure....

Still worth it. However, I’d tell him to pack sand out of principle.

Yup...saw that earlier today. He reposted it after apologizing to me. I guess it shouldn't be a surprise that someone would list a bike as non-running and then "after spending a few minutes on it this morning", was able to fire it right up. Somehow that bike must have magically grew a working ignition system overnight lol.

I picked my 79 Special II up for $350. A couple years ago. I was the 2nd guy who contacted him. First guy tried to dicker with him. I was willing to pay full price. I put a Pamco on it and new carbs and she runs like a top. He told me when I picked it up that he knew he under priced it, because he had about 50 emails after me who offered more. He said he was a man of principle and sold to me. I told him I could relate, I sold my '72 Blazer (running, needing carpet and floor an repairs) for $400 in the 2008. When I price them now, I cry.
