xs650 powered snow blower

OK, So we got 10" of snow last night in nw pa so i was snow blowing this morning and thinking at the same time, dangerous for a couple reasons.
Has anyone thought about, or actually modified a two stage snow blower with a xs650 engine?
You would have to eliminate the air filter and replace it with a simple breather box.
Not sure about the drive system, but think it could be locked into first gear.

Well, no, not a 650, but I have a spare Tecumseh 5 horse that's the same as the one on my blower.

In idle moments, I've been visualizing ways to run two engines. The single bogs pretty hard when the snow gets deep, need MORE POWER.

Im pretty sure I saw a video on youtube of a chevy 350 powered snow blower. had little tank treads and stack exhaust pipes. was badass but a waste of money for sure.

So i guess a xs650 blower is possible

should only take an hour or two to build, right????????? Straight pipes, you could SCARE the snow out of the driveway.

Will need a governor though.

Well, here is a picture of another V8 powered snow blower:

and a BMW powered snow blower. Or, is that a Chrysler Hemi engine? Wahatever...

So, if these are possible a XS650 powered snow blower should be a piece of cake! GO FOR IT!!

ps: With these behemoths you don't have to worry about blowing snow in your neighbors yard. They blow the snow over to the next block!

The wife bought me a real nice snow shovel you can dig out of 20 inches with. Had a curved handle. Dig out you will live longer or die trying. I still have it now too old to use it.

Toro 38381 18-Inch 15 Amp Electric 1800 Power Curve Snow Bloweri is best snow blower brand of 2015.. I like electric better than gas, but obviously, you need a long extension cord to reach around property. Works very well & reliably. Doesn't always clear to ground level, especially when people have compacted the snow by walking over it. It is easy to use & saves my back from shoveling.

If you have an extra XS650 orphan engine. I'm sure we could come up with better ideas than using it for a snow blower.
