I am building a cheap exhaust system with the origional pipes. I cut the mufflers off and got some 1.5 aluminized extensions from the auto parts store. My question is how should I prep these for welding? Grind off the chrome and aluminized coating? Thanks

I switch my stock master cylinder to a Yamaha Raptor master cylinder on my 79 special. My question is how do I wire up the brake switch? Both wires on the raptor switch are black and the origional wires are green/yellow and a brownish. Any help is greatly appreciated.
