Der XS650 Motor
Hans-Joachim Pahl
...here are the full texts...

...just the pictures...

...also in German is the Bucheli Series 551/552 which is only ok...
also i have Clymer which im not too impressed with, Clinton which is little better, Haynes which is better again, and the original Yamaha Service Manuals
XS1 - no visible part #-white
XS1B - no #-green
XS2 - suppl info-dedicated to disc brake and e start-no #
XS1-XS2 - combined-yellow-(11612-56-99)
XS1-TX-A - combined manual-yellow-(11613-06-01)
XS-B - yellow-(447-28199-11) and the subsequent C and D supplementary manuals
XS-E - (2F0-28197-70) or (11616-00-76) and the various model specific supplementary manuals that were produced for each subsequent model using the E model book as a basis
XS650 Models 78-80 - (11616-XS-61) www.biker.net
...these yamaha books have a lot of good pictures (many of which have been badly reproduced in the haynes edition) and easy to read text, haynes also has a bad print typeface which bends my eyes...the earlier yamaha manuals have beautiful photographic quality reproduction-the later are less sucessfully reproduced
...i have sourced all from ebay over the years for very good prices-there are some shops asking ridiculous prices for these-if youre looking for one wait and watch, they come up regularly privately for much better value...
- service points
- motor breakdown overview
...manual for XS650E including later supplements - in english...also found at biker.net
