View attachment 185555 Not so cold out today so I broke out the tools and parts to do the following:
- removed engine mounts in preparation for head retorque
- carb mounts for BS38’s
- new diaphragms for BS38’s
- final assembly of rebuilt BS38’s with new jets
- silicone orings on tappet covers
- removed PWK32’s and dual throttle cable
- completed LED turn signal install
To do:
- head retorque
- lube new throttle and clutch cables, then install
- 8 plate clutch install complete with new springs
- timing marks

Thanks, appreciate the comments. I worked on the bike much of last year and hope I can get more riding time in this year. The list of things to do to the bike is getting pretty short and hopefully all will be done by the springtime other than dialing in the BS38’s.I sure do like your bike! Great styling and super clean!

Mate I love what you have done there, very close to what I have in my head for mine. Any chance of a few more pics from other angles? Also are those the original guards cleaned up and painted? Great work!View attachment 185555 Not so cold out today so I broke out the tools and parts to do the following:

Thanks Mate, maybe both sides and top down? Having a bit of a battle with myself on what to do with bars, triple clamp, instruments and switches.. post here would be fine, I am sure many more would be interested too!Hello I can send photos to you or post here. Seat was on the bike when I bought it. I’ll look in my documentation to see if I can find where the po got it.Thanks Bosco, great work and love the colour! I am thinking of doing similar with mine and this really helps clarify a few things. Looking at a Texavino seat as the price is good and looks like pretty good quality with easy fitment, could you tell me where yours is from? The ignition switch cover is brilliant. Thanks again!
Thanks Mate, just bought this one with the stitching and pipe in Yammy candy red. Colour is going to be white and candy red flashes and pin striping on guards and wheels. Hopefully it fits reasonably easily and the quality is good... I will post some pics of before and the build in the next few days. Appreciate your help!Seat was on the bike when I bought it.
