Got some Prismatic Powders "Super Chrome Plus" (used it before) on order......

That mean it goes back to the blaster?
Hopefully not - they're both Urethane powders - if I can adjust the KV and get adhesion - should be good. If the adhesion is iffy, I can either hand-sand w/220 or back to the blaster - doesn't need to be all the way back to bare metal🤞

Are you planning to shoot/fog a clear too?

I know the better looking ones had to have a clear.

Yep. That was why I tried this particular powder from Columbia as it was advertised as "all-in-one". On the other metallic powders I've used, the shine is actually better before the clear coat, but it's recommended "for outdoor use"

Interesting try on the chrome. Won't the first color flow in to the second color? Well, if clear can be used over color without making mud, I would guess not. Looking forward to the next chrome try. Thanks for the feedback, keep it going.

So the individual color layers are cured - or partially cured, depending - then the next color is powdered on and cured. With most metallics it's recommended to fully cure before the next top-coat

Wow! That really looks like chrome, I wouldn’t have believed it! 😃
Thats Nice Reaction GIF by MOODMAN
It achieved the look that I was after; a nickel plated Rickman (etc). In actuality, it's milkier than actual chrome. Here's a side-by-side with some handlebars
