With summer going faster than free deep fried cheese curds in a Wisconsin bar I returned to my work shop. Since I share the space with various artist and numerous critters first order of business was cleaning up the place. Spent a couple hours vacuuming and cleaning the powder from a visiting artist who‘s specialty was grinding rocks. Also cleaned up the droppings from mice, raccoons, and who knows what. Made enough of a dent to do a little work.
I got the cover off to the other oil screen. Couldn’t budge the screws last spring. Several months soaking in Kroil did the trick. Didn’t look too bad. Nothing on it I can see.
I ordered acorn nuts from Mike’s XS for the valve access covers but they were too big. Next I want to get everything buttoned up, add oil and install the carbs .
Not sure when I will get back at it. Between the nice weather, doctors appointments, and driving mom around it may be a few weeks. Also have to get the 1100 fixed.
