there she is. i still need to finish up a few things should be done in less than a month hopefully. thanks everyone for all the help and question ive asked, this forum really helped me out along with all the experienced xs650 members. ill keep updating as i get close to finishing. peace:bike:

haha will do. sucks not having a dedicated digital camera for build pics. but i guess you live and you learn.

dont sweat it man, the ones i just posted of my build i took with my POS droid last night. i need to get a camera too, but i gotta find one that can take the abuse of our garage. shit gets thrown alot haha

haha thanks c-los. its actually rusto metallic grey sprayed in my garage with some chemical resistant aerosol clearcoat. its not perfect my bondo job was kinda shitty you can tell up close.

finally finished the upholstery on the seat. it sucks not really knowing how to use a sewing machine, so the stitches are pretty funky, but it holds the material together which counts and it gives it character... some of the small stiching i had to do by hand, and i have to say sewing by hand sucks, im glad its done though.

i also finished making a license plate bracket which holds my brake light and turn signals.
simple design out of 16gauge sheet metal with small bar stock welded undermeath for support. with out them the tail light and license plate shake pretty crazy.

heres just a random photo of the underseat, all the wiring will be tucked under here. theres a ton of extra space, it was originally intended to hold all the stock electrical equipment, but since i installed the pamco/pma there almost no electrical equipment.

i know i know, its a crazy birds nest of wires in there. i was up till 5am this morning trying to situate all the wires along with getting the turn signals to work. like a dumb ass i threw away the stock canceler unit so i went and bought a 2 prong flasher relay from pepboys. for the past 3 day ive been trying to figure out how to get the signals to work. thanks to jayels wiring diagram i discoverd why they werent working. there was a brown and white wire that wasnt connected to the handle bar switches, i couldnt figure out if i needed the wire connected to something and figured out that i did. i opened the handle bar housing, took apart the turn signal assembly and soldered the brown and white wire between the dark green and chocolate wires and tested it out and sure enough it worked!!! i was really happy about that, this morning. be aware the stock solder will pop of the signal assembly. almost there couple or so, ill update more tonight.
