clutch cable length

Hey Guys,

Does anybody know the length of the stock clutch cable? Both the sheath and the actual inner cable. I got custom cables for my build, and they were too long. I sent them back and I think they only shortened the outside sheath so now the cable doesn't work at all. Curious as to what the stock length is. Thanks

i just wonder where that measurement is from? I need the inner cable length to see what exactly I have to do to this cable I have.

I have some in my garage that would tell the difference between the cable itself and the sheathing, but not home from a vacation till next Saturday. Maybe someone else will jump in. But it is the right thing to check, and then just resolder it.

I'm measuring a brand new Motion Pro cable here. Everything pulled tight, not measuring the ends, only measuring the BARE EXPOSED CABLE I get 12 centimeters, or 120mm.

Read my post again. I thought I did a good job describing what I was measuring, that is the CRITICAL measurement no matter what the length of the casing.

I see what you mean know ,it's the length of the cable inside the clutch housing .
