clutch handle adjuster + throttle cable ?

ok working on a '78 and i'm missing the clutch handle adjusting nut ,anyone have one or know where to get it . also have the throttle cable ,need to know where the spring goes on cable [see picture ] bike was apart when i got it so not sure if i'm missing something . any pics of your setup would help i guess. included pics of clutch handle and the end with spring of throttle cable

I think if you look in some of the parts places you can find the clutch adjuster, Ebay, local shops, bike/atv slavage yards.
I've not seen a spring on a throttle cable like that before. I might think it is on there to prevent chafing against the frame or somewhere. The spring would cause chafing of the paint on the frame. I think I would remove the spring.

Isn't that the throttle cable from an early twin cable bike?

the 71 im working on has the gaurd spring on it like that. its just s chaff guard. get rid of it if you like.

For the clutch lever adjusting thing, dealers can order both parts for about $4 each. If you pick it up, no postage charge.
