I bought a deep tunnel peanut tank from lowbrows, and it came in dented on the side. Lowbrow was nice enough to send a replacement tank and is eating the cost of the original.

So there screw up is your gain. The tank should be easily fixed but since I got a replacement I don't want to really worry about it.

I paid 159.99 + tax for the original all I'm asking for is 100 + shipping for the dented one.

I'll post some pictures later showing the dent and condition of the tank.

Two images, one with out the dent shown and the other with it high lighted. The dent should be able to be fixed as i said, or if you really wanna get down and dirty with it, you could always just bondo over it. Your choice.

Sorry again guys for the delay...I'm a little swamped at work...26 shows going out over the next 2 weeks...usually its like 6....bare with me and I'll get pictures up when I can.

Alright finally got some time to take some pictures, and here they are. The only area with a dent is clearly viable in two of the shots, but as I said I'm pretty sure its fixable, or at worse bondo over it.

100 + shipping...I'll give it a week on the forums if no one bites I'll move it to craigslist.

Thanks!
Dan

I am sure no one here will say it,but Their(Lowbrow's)generous move isn't a screw up,just good business. While I could use this tank,I would never buy as presented. You might choose your wording better.

Sorry I meant no disrespect about the way I said it, and I agree what they did was good business, and I appreciate it.

They were the ones, in fact, that suggested that I sell it. Fact is I was under the impression I would be returning it to them, but when the new tank came in without a return label I was a bit confused. I contacted the guy I had been communicating with at lowbrow and asked if I should return it on my own, and that is when he said they were eating the cost and I could do with it as I like, maybe even sell it.

It has not wavered my desire to buy from them, in fact it has encouraged it, since I know that I will get good customer service.

But I can respect your feelings, but understand, I was trying to be honest about what I am selling and how I acquired it.

Good luck in your own build.

Thanks,
Dan
