ive just installed Pamco and PMA and just now beginning to adjust the timing. It starts and runs got at idle. Tried adjusting the timing and now I have this god awful kickback. Any suggestions?

Using a timing light?
That's usually a sign of the timing being too advanced. Rotate the plate counterclockwise. Yes you need a timing light. Is your advance mechanism moving freely, do the weights retract as they should?

If your rotor doesn't have TDC mark I would put one on it and use it.
