How Can I Put A Savage Front Front End On My 79 xs650

How would i go about putting a 2002 suzuki savage triple trees and front end on to my xs650 frame? i think its a 79 frame the numbers are like 2f0-299xxxx

If the Savage bearings and stem are the same size as the XS650 makes it an easy swap. If not swapping the XS650 stem into the Savage trees makes it work.
