Ikon Shocks, Good or ???

Anyone know anything about Ikon shocks? I have the opportunity to buy used pair of #7610/1298 for $175.00 . They are the length I want, 13.25" and are 2005 model. They have 3 preload settings and 4 dampening settings. they came off a BMW 800. The guy who has them for sale is about my weight and the bike is likely somewhat heavier. Are they easy to rebuild if necessary? Should I just order Progressives from MMM? Any feedback is appreciated.

Thought this might save someone else some time. Turns out the spring on this model of shock (Ikon #7610-1298) is too long for the XS. The spring will interfere with the chain guard/drive chain. This shock is designed for a shaft drive bike where there is plenty of room for the length of spring.
It seemed like a good idea at the time.
