You're getting closer...SR-71 on the USS Intrepid. NY City Harbor.
What... you need to know if it's high tide or low tide? You're getting closer...
You need to ID the plane correctly. Not that i would have known but the info's readily available ..What... you need to know if it's high tide or low tide?
Stunt? You mean that's not real? And I thought it was set up for a Vin Diesel stunt in the next Fast & Furious . . .
And people thought Sully was good for landing an Airbus A320 in the Hudson!
There was a whole family of 'em. The A-12 was funded by the CIA. I think they had about a dozen of 'em when they realized they couldn't afford 'em. The program continued with the Air Force funding the SR-71. That was a win win for the CIA... as they had a hand in what they surveilled. So they kept the capability with someone else footin' the bill.I am an aviation lover and I never knew the A12 even existed. Always assumed it was the SR71. Thank you for that bit of education today.
Well, yes, except you don't ever see a hanger or any other building right in line with the runway.I THINK WE OVER-RUN THE RUNWAY!
Its a joke?!Well, yes, except you don't ever see a hanger or any other building right in line with the runway.
