Very cool that a bunch of idiots (I use that term fondly, hell, we ride other 50 year old dinosaurs) chose the Thomas Vincent Bridge locale as a gathering point. Looks like good times. Cheers.

My Lambretta story.

I was in a guy I knows shed one day and saw a battered Lambretta over in the corner. Someone had drawn with a marker pen Rin Tin Tin as a name on the fairing.

I asked him what the story was and without a word he started it gave it a rev, let it return to idle for a few moments and shut it down. Riiinnn tin tin tin tin tin.

It was very funny

They're CB bars. Didn't like 'em at first, too narrow. I welded a 1.5" extension on each end... took 'em from 26 to 29"... an' that helped.
Because of my bad knee they had me too far tucked over, so I made some risers that put 'em back and up 1.5" Still gettin' used to 'em, but so far so good.
Guess I should do a writeup in my resto thread one of these days.

I learned on this forum that Virago risers move bars back an inch and up ~1/2 inch. They are $15-$20 cheap on line for those of us thay don't have machining available..
