New Spokes

Hey guys I am wanting to buy new spokes for my stock 1977 xs650 wheels. My only issue it that they are SO many different companies that make them. Mikexs has stainless and cadmium plated. Ebay has lots of chrome plates. Will anyone who has replaced their spokes please point me in the right direction. I want them to fit properly and last awhile. This will be my first time lacing a wheel so I want to make sure I buy quality spokes that make it easy.

Many have used Mike's and are satisfied. I personally use Buchanon's and stainless.

yup have used mikes SS his only issue is some 16" spokes not an issue for your standard.
Have heard some probs w the fleabay vendor but haven't used them.
