More like our painter IF you GET a reservation.......
hint.... 71, 72 and Allison sez Madness needs to be brilliant red, NOT silver n black.

Well then, I guess Jim is going to have to stop lazing-about girl-watching and drinking beer - and get down to business if he's going to put a "Dent" in that backlog of projects......

hehehe - see what I did there?

...and we're off...

Ears are for the Victor. Everything else belongs to Kevin's Red Bike.
Don't worry JP... did some putty and sanding on an XS2 tank also. :wink2:

Jims top picture is where he cleaned up and filled the rear fender taillight mount holes. I had welded (poorly) a backing plate inside the fender so the painter could fill and smooth for finishing. The "Red Bike" will have a NOS taillight TBD so the old mounting holes would look foolish on a painted fender.

Think I've showed this little tip before...
Keep some old brass or copper sheets, blocks... chunks layin' around for filling holes. Chuck it up in the vise and it makes the perfect heat sink for welding thin sheet. Set it under the hole and the puddle won't stick to it.
