Pushrod assembly

Hi,

My bike is standing still for appr. 3 years. Before replacing the oil seal and bushing I was checking the the assembly of the left clutch cover. The pushrod won’t move inwards so the clutch cover doesn’t fit. Question: should the clutch rod be able to move inside/inwards the engine?

The clutch pushrod is moved inwards by the release mechanism. That's in the left side case. Suggest you back off the adjuster and try again.
