Well, I knew it was bound to happen eventually, and it finally did - the rotor on my trusty '78 gave up the ghost, lol. I can't complain really. As far as I know, it was the original so it was 20+ years old already when I got the bike in the early 2000s. It then went on to serve me reliably for another 15 years or so.
So, Jim was kind enough to send me one he had on hand before even getting my old one. It looks terrific and ohms out very nicely in the high 4's. I had a spare to swap in and will continue to use it for a while anyway, but being 40+ years old too, who knows how long it'll be good for. No big deal because I now have a good-as-new spare to swap in if need be. Thanks Jim.
