OR- do like I did and go back to using the battery.

Those caps off ebay didn't work?

Has to because that battery wouldn't produce a spark with the old Alternator.Lights are off, there is no power going to anything but the ignition. Before this was happening I COULD start it with the lights on.

i would still confirm that the pma is charging. the old alternator uses energy from your battery to make energy so that could have been why it didn't work. easy enough to check anyways...

Yeah they worked but had to put the battery back on to find my SECOND short in the electrical system, just left it in place, I have it wired for the CAP's just aint put'em back in line and removed battery yet.
