Morning Guys,
now i have my rolling Chassis rolling (and it sure looks good with the 16inch rear wheel and XS750 front end!)
its time to take on the task of the engine rebuild.
I'm looking for basic photos of the very first stages i.e. top crankcase, crank insert, primary and secondary shafts and most importantly the fork selectors and selector shafts
Keeping in mind, my bike came with a totally dismantled engine, which has been blasted and painted - the manuals are very poor at showing how to assemble as they rightly assume you have dismantled it!
I can use the parts microfiche from CMSNL to ensure i have all the parts, the things i'm unsure of though are Bearing locater rings, woodruff keys and fork gear positioning for assembly
Once i have the crankcase halves closed successfully, the rest should be straightforward
Thanks
