Thank You. I think I wasted more time looking for a suitable shim than actually making one. All it took was a 7/8" hole saw, a pair of tin snips, a tin can and a file.

Those shims are available from Yamaha. They’re expensive at $4 or $5 each. At that price, you’ll pay shipping as well.
