swingarm width

need some help here. i have a 77D. is my swingarm narrower than say on an '83 model. the 77 specs show a narrower rear tire than that on an '83. i want to mount a 130/90 16 on my bike but i wondered if my swingarm might be too narrow.

Measure it and see if its wide enough.

AFAIK after 72 the swing arms are all the same dimensions, there are some disk vs drum brake bracket differences, and the brake stay on the specials is different to clear the tire, that's about it.

the reason for the question junkie was for the simple fact that not having a 130/90 and two respective swingarms laying around the house, to avoid any great amount of footwork and expense i was looking for someone that would be willing to impart some of this knowledge if they had it by chance.
