I didn't think that through before posting. But, you can mount the XS650 brake on either side, depending what caliper you have. I kept the right one off my wrecked Moto Guzzi. That’s interesting plug and play because the SR500 brake is on the left. The site states it’s a Right. XS650 applicable it seems though but is there a left available ? (SR500)

So these are my only two swingarm pivot tubes. They were wire wheeled firstly than spun in a lathe and hand polished a bit. Surprisingly they are still straight, round, and have no visible runout rolling on a granite plate. Drilled for better grease flow. Bushings are dirty but probably fine. If not I’ll make new ones.
Going for the win here ! Maybe this evening.
Or I can make some out of Teflon impregnated nylon.. here at work. We’ll see soon
Thanks for the links jetmechmarty.
The plan is to go with the motolanna bracket and spacer, with 320mm aftermarket wave disc.
Gonna do a photo intensive write up? For all that wish they had brakes like that?
I don't think it's capable of looking like your Harley, but then again, maybe you have the necessary talent.I want it to fill out the rear more like my Harley.

I believe the Special swingarm is the same as the standard. So, that means a 130/90-16 tire fits in there. 140/90-16 not so much. It depends upon the tire brand. 120/90-18 should fit without any issue.

Actual tire sizes do vary from manufacturer to manufacturer even though the claimed size is “120/90-18”
This Dunlop fills the area well.
